Forest School

At Greenwood Wandle we have our very own forest school on site with a dedicated forest school team run by Caroline. Sycamores and Saplings visit our site twice a week and our Seeds visit once a week.

As well as our onsite location, we take the children off site once a week to discover the natural world further afield. The Sycamores visit Wimbledon Common on Wednesdays and Thursday and the Saplings visit King Georges’ Park site on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is a shrubbery at the end of the King Georges park. The walk is over 1km and goes through the ‘running fields’ past the ‘monkey climbing tree’ over the ‘roly-poly mountains’ all the way to our forest school. On Friday’s the Seeds do a forest walk in King George’s Park.
